Project Evolution Infoplazas 2.0: acquisition and installation of software, including training and capacity building activities.

The Project ‘Infoplazas’ is conceived as a network of community centres that facilitate the access to information through internet and information in multimedia format. These are centres for public internet access equipped with computers situated in rural and suburban areas. Currently, Panama disposes of 200 Infoplazas on national territory that sum up more than 700 public internet access points. Infoplazas is a fully consolidated programme in the Republic of Panama. However, in order to improve this network progress is needed to evolve the management model and to specifically strengthen digital training activities that can be developed in these centres. Quantitative results of the Project Infoplazas 2.0: • Creation of 2 territorial reference centres Infoplazas 2.0 • Organisation of at least 10.000 hours of digital skills development for the general public • Digital literacy of at least 5.000 persons • Organisation of 10 training activities for the transfer of knowledge addressed at administrators of the existing Infoplazas • Transfer of knowledge and technologies to 150 operational Infoplazas Services provided: • Creation and management of Infoplazas 2.0- Centres of territorial reference - Infrastructure and equipment of each of the centres - Activities of digital capacity building addressed at the general public • Transfer of knowledge and technology - Implantation of a management and evaluation platform - Technical support during the transfer process - Training of the administrators of Infoplazas - Support tools for the transfer • Fundraising - Alert system containing relevant information about grants - Elaboration of the initial project. - Partner search - Processing of the application and support in the administrative preparations - Monitoring

Management and Monitoring of Madrid Technology Classrooms Project for Innovation Transfer

Madrid Technology is an initiative of the City of Madrid, designed to make possible the transfer of technology between ICT stakeholders and the public sector and civil society. It encourages the use of new technologies among all citizens, equipping each centre with those tools that turn it into the reference point for the technology innovation in each district of the city. The activities implemented under the project involve monitoring and evaluation actions which give accurate information about the extent in which the technology is being transferred and eventually take corrective actions. Development of a Network of 35 Electronic Information Point (PIE) in order to promote the use of new technologies and the digital inclusion in Panama. Objectives of the contract: • Promote and strengthen the information services of the Government, • Reduce the barriers to the access to ICT, • Reduce the existing digital gap within the population, • Reinforce the information society in Panama. Technical Assistance Services for developing an ICT Strategy: boosting Information Society and Digital Literacy

A global strategy on ICT was developed in order to boost the access of citizens and professionals to internet and to break the digital divide among the target population. It included also the responsible utilization of the web by young people. ICT skills were provided emphasizing the application of technological devices to improve career development and professional opportunities. The strategy included not only the measures to be implemented to foster ICT use by a targeted population, but also an overview of the different alternatives which could be applied and the mechanisms to spread out ICT application in a broader geographical scope. Services provided: • Development of an ICT strategy • Capacity building to proper and efficient use of new information and communication technologies among the educational community. It included 458 seminars and 493 workshops addressed to teachers and learners. • Training to boost the access to internet to ageing people, disabled people and groups under risk of social exclusion, including the performance of 224 training courses under the “E-Inclusion Programme”. • Development of the Web Portal and e-learning platform to deliver on-line courses. • Elaboration of educational content and downloading guidelines about “safe internet” • Design of raising awareness and 2.0 communication campaigns deployed in different media • Design of training videos about the use of ICT • Design of brochure and leaflets about ICT learning methods and tools

Services for the organisation of the training activities of the project “Local Pact for Youth and Socially Responsible Employment” co-financed by the European Social Fund in the municipality of Rivas-Vaciamadrid

The Local Pact for Youth and Socially Responsible Employment was supported by the Spanish Ministry of Territorial Policies and co-financed by the European Social Fund, Multiregional Operational Programme 2007-2013 “Adaptability and Employment”. The project aimed to promote training focused on employment and social inclusion in the municipality of Rivas-Vaciamadrid located in the eastern suburbs of Madrid: • Promote social and labour inclusion of unemployed persons with specific difficulties thanks to: o Specific and practical training focused on employment, o Internships. • Support young and unemployed people in their first job search, and promote entrepreneurship among them. • Develop inclusive labour environments through management of diversity and equal opportunity. • Create a Network of services to attend special needs of reconciliation of work and personal life. In this context, IDEL carried out specialised training activities according to the needs of the unemployed population and of the local private sector. Services provided: Specialised training: 1. Monitoring, control and evaluation of the programme ‘AMPLIA’, co-financed by European Social Fund, Objective Competitiveness and Employment, Axis 2, priority theme 69

Monitoring of the proper operation of extended opening hours of public child care, primary and secondary educational centres which provide educational services and extracurricular activities to children aged from 0 to 12 years. Monitoring, control and evaluation services have been carried out in the framework of the programme ‘AMPLIA’, pursuing the objective of verifying the implementation of the agreements between the Region of Madrid and the participating municipalities. IDEL, S.L. performed the role of interlocutor between the Department for Employment and Women and the participating municipalities. The activity was implemented following the hereinafter named phases: 1. Organisation of in site visits to the training facilities and places in which activities during the extended opening hours have been carried out 2. Supervision and evaluation of the activities 3. Consulting Services for the Implementation of the Project TIC-TAC, TIC-TAC “Time for educating through New Technologies”

The objective of the TIC-TAC Project “Time for educating through New Technologies” is to foster the responsible use of new technologies as a learning tool, improving contents and teaching formats in primary and secondary schools. Through this project, several innovative learning tools have been developed and integrated under the frame of a pilot initiative. A broad range of stakeholders have participated. Consultancy services were about designing and implementing this project, which had two main components: 1. Previous assessment of ICT needs for the learning process 2. Design of strategic action under the project to cover the identified needs 3. Elaboration of learning contents according to the project priorities Services provided: • Elaboration of interactive methodological guidelines to teach through new ICT’s • Definition of methodologies and activities to use the advantages of TIC’s during the learning process • Development of multimedia contents and graphic design for the guidelines. • Web development of the site TIC-TAC, including: functional assessment, definition of modules and sections, production of digital contents, information downloading tools, management of website statistics, etc. • Guidance about the use of the website and the guidelines • Visits to the educational centres • Dissemination activities for the project: seminars and workshops • Evaluation of results and impacts.

Service for the implantation of IT solutions for the digitalization of self-employed and micro-firms in the framework of the TIMEPYME project, Operational Programme of Cross-border cooperation Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2007-2013

The project TIMEPYME “Time for the Technological and Business Development of SMEs” is a territorial cooperation project between public administrations from Portugal and from Spain, approved in the framework of the Operational Programme of Cross-border cooperation Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2007-2013. The project aim at fostering the involvement of SMEs in the use of new technologies as crucial tools for competitiveness and growth. IDEL provides services for the use of IT solutions by micro-firms and self-employed, especially regarding Free Software. Supply of connectivity and transfer of knowledge for teachers in the Chachapoyas region

The objective of this Project is to develop a Contract of Services for the supply of connectivity to the Jose del Carmen Marin of Chachapoyas School (Amazonian region) through a transfer of knowledge to the teachers of this educational institution as well as the support of several educational tools with the aim of implement a set of educational platforms and other training activities that will help to strength the learning capability and teachers capacity to enhance a bigger learning performance of the students. Then, the project aims that, during the whole life of it, the Jose del Carmen Marin of Chachapoyas School has the opportunity to obtain an infrastructure able to satisfy the objectives as well as a staff of teachers trained accordingly through the described list of services. As a final result, it is expected that the quality of teaching increases its level and, consequently, the students can access to a better system of learning looking forward for a better learning performance on a long term basis To carry out the implementation of this Project, IDEL Peru will implement the following services: •To offer connectivity and infrastructure to the School for a whole year. •Supply of connectivity to all the classrooms in order to provide technological tools to teachers. •Offer of educational content able to improve the quality of students learning as well as the educational teaching for the preparation of the university studies. •Supply of management software on computers in order to guarantee an appropriate use. •Design and implementation of a training plan for teachers to let them familiar with the educational tools. •Educational tools inclusion under the framework of the Annual Education Plan of the School. •Service supply of a technical expert on networks and communication for the training of staff and installation of devices. •Service supply of a technical expert of software solutions with the task of training and transfer of knowledge to the staff about the use of the educational platform. •Service supply of a teacher and/or a pedagogue with the tasks of offering staff training about the use of new technologies
